‘ You know what Akram ?
The jawlines, And the cheekbones
Keeps me attracted a lot’
I wonder why was Akram so shy to confess his love as well. He was the best thing that happened to Bilavan that day. But I am amazed of how the society still follows the trend, ‘Judge the book by its cover’ and not, ‘Judge the book by its content’.
Love from Iraq, my personal favorite, is already celebrating one. And people still don’t know what does it talk about other than Gay. Love from Iraq is a love less spoken about. It is the story of two security guard who fights all odd to win each others love. And there’s more from the story, than romance.
I love how the entire story is written in a poetry form making it as the longest poetry. It’s not anything that I have imagined or seen before. And that is what makes it stand out from other books of the same genre.
